I chose these two pictures as my Hockney Pictures because they're different. I have a boat and a background in the landscape and the Face picture I chose to do something a little different. I found a picture of two little kids kissing and made the decision to cut it up and put it back together like a puzzle, and so that you could tell it's not the same picture as before.
The landscape collage captures different elements within the colors of the sky, and the waves within the ocean are visible. Overall I think the landscape collage was successful. The portrait collage could have been more distinguished as a collage but it is adorable and the idea is creative.
